Unidentified Body Found





Windsor police are investigating after a dead body was discovered in the Detroit River.

Police were called to the waterfront near Riverside Drive and Strabane Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Monday.  

Emergency crews recovered the body from the river, and notified the Coroner’s office.

Police say a passerby discovered the body and called authorities.

No other information has been released, and police say their investigation is still in the early stages.
